Amazónico Restaurant – Monte-Carlo

After Madrid, Dubai and London, the Amazónico concept opens in the heart of the emblematic Place du Casino and invites visitors to discover a multi-sensory experience in the Amazon rainforest. The project, curated by the artist and interior designer Lázaro Rosa-Violan, was realised under the guidance of the management and property management department of the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer. The Amazónico restaurant, with its jungle-style interior, offers an immersive experience that starts at the bar and extends to the main lounge, passing through the sushi counter and dining room, to the 1,000 sqm terrace, taking guests on an evocative journey through the majestic Amazon.

The concept was created to offer an explosion of the senses through a vibrant atmosphere that provides a backdrop to the lush furnishings with natural essences, on which to sit and listen to live music, while enjoying a culinary experience that draws on the various Amazonian regions. ‘In our work, we dedicated ourselves to the creation of benches, tables, consoles and chairs, taking care of both the interior spaces of the restaurant and nightclub and the outdoor areas, including stations for housing technical service equipment,’ says Raffaele Vibrati, site manager.

‘The furnishings were created by combining customised wood, upholstery and metal elements; marble, exclusive fabrics, decorated glass and antique brass finishes are just some of the elements that characterise the particularly luxurious jungle style, all in compliance with hospitality certifications,’ explains Luca Castelli, Project Manager. The collaboration with architects, designers, and all the technicians who participated in the construction site allowed the product to be completely customised, guaranteeing respect for the technical and artistic specifications of the furniture in the other Amazónico restaurant locations.
